the thing about luck

hello!

school has been pretty good so far. rather slacky and got back some of the block test results for maths and chemistry mcq. quite happy because they were higher then what i had expected :P.

today went to school for some entrepreneurship challenge. it was quite boring and everyone wasn't paying attention in the auditorium as usual. there were lots of chatting and of course, sleeping.

after school went to town to get interviews for our project work. dr ross was very helpful and he gave us some really formal letters so that we have a higher chance of getting our interviews done (we got rejected a couple of times :(). went to Tangs and Robinsons head office to pass the letter and interview questions to their public relations managers respectively, and they said they would try to email back to us their answers (just hope that they would not treat those pieces of paper like trash and dump them into the bin). wish us luck!

after that headed down to takashimaya to request for a woman called evelyn, who is their public relations manager, so that we could hand the same letters and questions to her. jinjuan called her up after apporaching the customer service clerk and she got quite pissed. LOL. she said that woman sounded quite irritable and said something like "i thought i have already rejected you?..." nevertheless we gave the letter and question to the customer service clerk to hand them over to evelyn. hope she would be in a fabulous mood or something or our group have some great karma that would actually induce her to read and answer the questions instead of throwing them down the toilet bowl (i wouldn't be surprise if she treats it like toilet paper, but then again i think the paper are abit too rough). waiting for her reply via email, wish us luck!

oh after that mingming, yujun and me went down to orchard cineleisure wanting to catch the rather outdated chick flick "just my luck". haha i wanted to watch it because i kinda like lindsay lohan especially after watching "mean girls". we checked the timings for that movie and WE WERE REALLY LUCKY! we were there just in time to buy the tickets and catch the movie (and we got the LAST THREE TICKETS, ain't we lucky?). unfortunately, it was the front row, but still it is better than going home :P. as we were sitting right in front, i turned back and saw a sea of girl teenagers. think it is probably because alot of students in singapore are dismissed early at noon today. the teachers have to go for some MOE stuffs. okay i am digressing, back to the topic. the cinemas was basically 95% filled with girls. yea so i was the 5% present there.

the movie wasn't really good and wasn't as bad as silent hill either. at least i did laugh and understand the movie (okay i know i SHOULD be able to understand the movie since it is a chick flick). however, i still think that "mean girls" is funnier and definitely more interesting than "just my luck".

went home after that...have dinner...and here i am typing this!

oh by the way, i am having taekwondo grading this sunday. didn't know about it until i went for training on wednesday and didn't know that we have to do sidekicks for the grading. my sidekicks are pretty screwed. they look more like free-kicks-in-the-air. wish my luck!

hey! by the way my bus luck has been REALLY BAD these days. waited for at least half an hour everyday for bus 67 to arrive when i went home. hope that this week my bus luck would be really good like "ashley" (the character acted by lindsay lohan in the movie)! imagine this: once i leave the school, there would be three bus 67 and i can probably choose which bus to take. more bus luck please!
